Petting Zoom!

We like to visit the local petting zoom, as Conan calls it. Saturday morning I got to spend alone time just with Conan. He has been asking me to take him for a month so we went. He thought he was in Heaven riding that horse and just like Tyrone from the Backyardigans says, Yip Yip Yeee hahhh he his hat off and waved it around.

1st place baby!

Taylor played her last season game on Saturday. The Lady Sharks took first place in their division. Not sure what we will do this fall. She plans on trying out for the high school team , so that may be what we do. It was really hot and Conan was less than impressed that we had to sit out there for 2 hours. Congrats TEC!

Number 4 runs in the family, Chris was number 4 all through high school.

Wedding weekend

This says it all!

We had a great weekend. Chris, Conan and I traveled to Tulsa to go to a friends wedding; Taylor stayed behind to play soccer and it was also team picture day. Conan was having some bowel issues but once we got over that he was great! He is talking so much that everything out of his mouth either 1) amazes me 2) startles me 3) or cracks the hell out of me. Oh the things this child picks up on. The wedding was sweet, but if you ask Conan he will only talk about riding the 4 wheeler. I don't understand how moms do it, that is have sons. Conan is fearless and it makes me fearful. I can only imagine how the next 16 years are going to pan out. "Hold on tight Mama, this one is gonna be a dandy."

I posted this one because my hubby is actually smiling in a picture! Whoo Hoo
We had fun driving up there. We talked and laughed, ate Italian Nachos at Johnny Carinos (super yummy) and just enjoyed each other. Reminded me that the small things really do matter. This picture also reminded me that we will be celebrating our 4th anniversay in just a few months. HOLY COW!

My little guy has been such a daddy's boy lately. I can't do anything for him without him screaming for Christopher. Man it hurts sometimes. I guess he is making up for being stuck to my breast for the first 8 months, but please son, remember that I AM your mother and love to do things for you. I love to watch movies with you, play trucks in your room, eat poppysicles outside.....Share the love.

I could go on and on about you sweet girl. You and your mommy are on an adventure far away and you will never know just how much your Aunt Katie misses you. I am so lucky to be your aunt and share a name. I hope your birthday is magical and you always remember that your Texas family loves you so very much.

I am just testing something.....

Chris and I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter. Conan has been sick since Tuesday so our holiday week/weekend was not so great especially for the little guy. He did however, start to feel better today and was able to hunt a few eggs. That being said I am tired and so the pictures will have to speak for themselves, for now anyway!
