In 1991 Tim Berners-Lee introduces WorldWideWeb, the first web browser.
I am ever so thankful for this wonderful introduction.

I am really bad about keeping up with my Wednesday weigh in so here is a quick update.
I am now at an even 150 lbs. That makes 15 total pounds lost. I am pretty excited about this.

We had a nice relaxing weekend. I spent Saturday just trying to recoup from the food poisoning I got Thursday. Conan was so sweet while I laid on the couch all day Friday. He even asked me if I was sick, and if I was feeling better. What a sweetie. I cried today thinking about how much he has changed. I actually have real conversations with him. Gone is the baby. Makes me really sad in a way, but I am taking every moment to heart. I hug him often and try to spend as much time with him as I can.

Taylor's soccer team entered a float in the parade on Saturday and they took 1st place. They donated the money to McKinney Soccer association for kids who don't have the money to play. I thought that was pretty nice. She has a really cool coach who goes way out of his way for the girls. I have a picture of their float I will post when I am not on the laptop.

A and I went and saw "Because I said so" it was okay, probably a renter. "Music and Lyrics", on the other hand is great. My favorite movie this year, by far.

Well enough for now, must get some sleep, 5:30 comes way to soon.

Time for change?

Conan is quickly out growing his bedroom theme, I think. I want to get him new bedroom furniture with a twin bed probably around the first of summer. We have really enjoyed the foggy theme and I painted the mosaic that hangs about his dresser. I am sort of stuck as to what I should do. I really don't like traditional decorating and I want something fun, and that will last at least 5 years. I need some help!
I am really stuck here. Usually I have tons of ideas running through my head, but not this time. Another thing, we are renting so the paint has to stay. (right now it is a dark khaki)

Happy Birthday Sweet Kendie

Kendie Hope, thank you for loving me.
You are the best little sister I could have ever hoped for. I can't believe you, my "baby sister" is 14 today. You have taught me more in your short life than you will ever know.
I love you sweet girl, always have, always will.

Super Hero...Valentine Pirate....Love day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Chris and I took off at 11:00am this morning and ate at Cheesecake Factory and then watched Music and Lyrics, VERY GOOD movie. I loved it. We took the kids to McDonald tonight for dinner. Conan had his first Valentine party today and got lots of cute stuff from his friends. It was very sweet. Nothing says I love you like the pink and white heart shaped rice crispy treats we made for his party. Taylor said all she did today was eat candy and wanted "real" food now. For those of you who don't know, Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday and I would say this was a really great day.

I hope everyone shared some love with family and friends.

Pics: The Valentine treats, Conan and Tylor playing superheros and Conan playing with stickers. (please don't look at how dirty the glass is in the last pic. (very embarassing)

Having Fun

I have to say, Conan is at a really awesome age. We have so much fun playing together, and he just keeps us all in stitches. He says the funniest things sometimes. I am trying so hard to treasure him and the time we have together. I know he will only be this little for a short time and I do NOT want to miss one second of it.
We are going to take him to see Charlotte's Web this afternoon. I really hope that he will sit through this one because of all the animals. Every time we take to see a movie we swear that will be the last one until he is 5, but hey the temptation one. I love the movies.
Only 4 more days until Valentine's Day!! WooHoo.

Memories

I was going through all of my old pictures and found the pictures of Conan's birth. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Last Saturday I bought Conan a "big boy" car seat. It sounds silly but I remember his first little bitty one we brought him home from the hospital in. Anyway, here is one of my favorites!

Happy Birthday/Anniversay!

My Grandparents just celebrated their 56th anniversay on my Grandfather's 74th birthday.
Pretty Amazing.
Hope you had fun celebrating and I am sorry I wasn't there.
I love you.
Katie

A rare moment

I worked very hard at getting my son to go to bed by himself and sleep through the night. However, once in a while he will ask me to hold him in the green chair and sing. Today after lunch we came home and Conan was so sleepy. I laid him in his bed and before I could leave the room he said" Mama hold me and sing to Conan in green chair" He was so stinking sweet about it, I scooped him up and he was out in two seconds. I love moments like that! He has made my life so much better.
