Water Slide!

Today at school they had a huge water slide and bouncy house. I was able to sneak over for a few min and take some pictures. His teacher told me that Conan and Mak were they first ones that were brave enough to go down it. (see heart swell!) They had a blast and I wish I would have worn my bathing suit.

Jungle Gym

We had a pretty fun packed weekend with family and friends. Friday night, Angela and I went to a party and I was able to see some friends I had not seen in a while. It was great to catch up with all of them.

Conan was supposed to start basketball this Saturday, however it has been postponed 2 weeks. He was so excited to start (he even picked out his water bottle and everything) so when I had to tell him he had to wait...he was heart broken. It is next to impossible to get a 2.5 year old to understand the idea of WAIT!

We took him to a new pizza place that had games and cheesy rides and his heart was mended momentarily. We were also able to spend some time at the pool. It was nice and relaxing and CCC loves it. Chris took me on a late date Saturday night. We went to Rock Fish for some seafood fondue and margaritas, then it was off to see Live Free, or Die Hard it was pretty good. We payed for the 2:00am bedtime the next day when Conan demanded his breakfast at 6:30! Long gone are my sleeping in days, heck, I don't even remember what that is. :)

Today we went to a birthday party for one of his buddy's 3rd birthday from school. The theme was "pretty pretty, princess" my son left asking if he could be a girl and have a birthday like hers. Ummm NO. but you can play with the princess balloon, until it Pops. The party was held at a place called Jungle Gym and Conan loved it. He got to run around all crazy like and they had some neat activities for the kids. Now I am getting ready to tackle the mound of laundry attacking me from my bedroom and hopefully get some much needed RR.

Several things wrong here:

1. Side boobs are not cool or attractive.
2. Showing that much cleavage-just plain wrong.
3. The hair has got to go.

Oh and please no jumping up and down with the music.

...How to save a life.

We had an absolute ball at The Fray. The weather was warm but wonderful. We laughed and talked giggled and danced, sang and shouted. I think A and I could have sat there all day just people watching. Holy cow there are some very interesting people out there. The band was incredible live and we had a blast just laying on our blanket enjoying the evening. It was a great birthday present and I had such a good time. Thanks so much A for everything (including the 8 dollar piece of pizza and the mondo margarita!)

The venue was sweet. Your choice of seating included: pit, regular seating in chairs, or the lawn. We got lawn tickets and brought a blanket. It was so comfortable being able to spread out or lay down. Every seat was a good seat. The opening bands were pretty great as well. It was a perfect concert.

You are officially my groupie! Peace out.

Get your swim on

Its stopped raining just long enough for us to get a quick swim in on Saturday with Conan's buddy, Makena. Those two are just like fish. I was a little worried last summer as Conan was quite content to just play on the steps, but this year he goes flying right in. I can't take my eyes off of him for a second. I heart summer right now.

A Happy Birthday indeed!!!

10 Happy things about my 27th birthday

1. By 10:30am, 9 people had already wished me a happy birthday. What a great start.
2. I got to eat lunch at a great little Italian restaurant.
3. When I got back to work, I had a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers on my desk. Given to me by my co-workers and bosses.
4. My BFF (who was in Canada) called to wish me a great day and remind me that The Fray is this Thursday!!!
5. My wonderful husband was cooking my absolute favorite dinner when I got home from work.
6. and....he made me the most awesome Mojito EVER!!!
7. Chris and the kids made me a cake with purple stars on it.
8. Conan sang happy birthday to "Mama" all by himself to me when I got home.
9. I got a gift card for some great stuff for my camera.
10. My Florida family sent me a party in a box.

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes, it made my day just peachy!

Happy 4th Everyone!

"Big Boy Room"

We were finally able to bring his furniture home from the store in-between rain showers. I was going to do something completely different than the blue and green, but I found the comforter and since we already had matching table and chairs-I kept the same color scheme. This is the start, I still have more stuff to add, but tonight was the first night he went to sleep all by himself and he did not get out of his bed once!!!

The pictures are awful, I took these at about 7:30 so it was pretty dark in there.
